i bought my second Alfa (a 2018 Stelvio Ti Sport) used with a CPO warranty, and Mopar let me extend it to a 7 yr./100k miles CPO for not too much dinero. great peace of mind.

Forgot to add to check that coolant hose from the reservoir to engine they crack easy they are plastic, I replaced mine with a rubber high pressure wire hose and it’s been a great alternative Alfasti bro

Was shopping 2018's recently and these are good tips but for under $200 you can get a pre purchase inspection at an alfa dealer for a tech to look it over completely, also a protip I asked them for the Mopar warranty which they do an inspection for, and I was able to get them to do the Mopar warranty inspection at the same time as the PPI (its basically the same inspection so they just didn't charge me twice for the same thing). Great tips though thanks for the video

Great video advise. I bought two 2.0 Stelvio's, both new in 2018 and 2021 and still have the 2021. No where close to 100, 000 but both have been dependable and trouble Free. There are some horror stories out there and have read many of them. I am a motorhead so I pay close attention to issues and resolve them soon as I identify them but as everyone knows stuff happens. Warranty and the 'correct' extended warranty will fix them. I also have a vintage Pantera, a F-150 PU, and a C8 Z51 Corvette and drive them all and race both the Pantera and the Corvette. My only advise is if you buy one pay attention to all the concerns this driver shared. Excellent advise!

I gotta say, I want a Giulia so much. Scary car as I"m a BMW/Audi guy- but this car is so damn good looking. IMO, the best looking sedan on the road today

This guy has a really good video with some good solid information, I’m an Alfa tech so I would know and I back this video !! Get the maximum care mopar warranty. It’s probably the same price as the cheap third party contracts that don’t cover anything that the oe one does.

I just bought a 2020 giulia with only 12800 miles on it. I hesitated first and thought I might be smarter looking for a 2022 instead. But the one I bought is so clean and feels completely new. I purchased and extended warranty for mine. Good luck to you. For me it was all about the life of the turbo. I saw many 2022 with 20k miles.

Thank you for talking about the extended warranty for these

good advice, however every single car I've owned started to lose coolant at some point. A $5 sealer additive like K-Seal solves the problem for a long time (if not forever) so the problem is probably not that severe.

So many on the resale market now are '21 or '22 models with low miles and plenty of MFG warranty left.

Good video. Alfa Romeo Cars are reliable. You have pointed out the issues that need to be checked which is great.

Excellent video, thank you for the insightful video. I’m in the market very soon for one and I see a lot of 2017 Veloces for sale it’s reassuring to see that they’re generally very reliable, to be honest the things that go wrong can happen on most cars, it’s just being aware before the costs blow out.

Congrats on your wedding btw.

Great video and pretty spot on. Had my Giulia for over a year and another thing that you want to look out for is the guides for the sunroof are plastic and do break.

Thanks for the Mopar care info, yeah I would've never thought of that

I got a third party warranty from a Secure Drive, I did purchase my Stelvio from an Alfa dealer, they confirmed that everything is covered, as long as a long as its through an alfa approved dealer for doing the work. Luckily I have a few nearby, and the warranty was about half the price as Alfacare.

hey thank you so much for this video. I went and saw one yesterday and it had residue on both the radiator and oil line. In addition, when I started up the car it stuttered a little bit and immediately flashed a "auto start/stop unavailable" light as we went down the road. the salesman played dumb which made it that much better when he said they were a transparent dealership.
