There is absolutely an internal limit on all Amex charge cards including Centurion, Amex go to some lengths about making sure you understand that no preset limit does not mean unlimited. If you usually charge $1000 per month then try to charge $1m you will be declined even with Centurion.

With that card you can even buy things that are not for sale. They will find that for you. Anything you want. They brought a girl 1 of the 101 movie dogs for her birthday. They place diamond rings in the ocean for creative wedding proposals. A pair of your favorite running shoes. Delivered anywhere in the world. When you accidentally decide somewhere you want to run. You name it. I used to work for AMEX. Great company!

All Amex charge cards have some degree of limit. It’s based on your average monthly spend if you’re a new customer but can be had high as 3 times your limit based on their credit cards if you’re a good customer. So if you have a 30k limit on an Amex credit card it can be as high as 90k on a platinum or black card.

There’s no preset limit, just like the platinum, in other words, it does have a limit you just don’t know it

Same with the Platinum Card, not exclusive to the Centurion /Black Card.. I paid for my last car on my Plat card to get the points..

That’s not technically true. I have one and although it’s “limitless”it’s highly monitored by Amex and if a payment is missed it’s “lowered”
