My elderly mother, who spent he working life and retired from the federal government, told me the that ONE of the drugs she takes just went from $300/mo to $800/mo. 😮 That's so ridiculous and sad. He response was "I guess I gotta pay it", and she does. It's awful.

The price of one of the necessary medications that I take to control my epilepsy has gone from $75 for a 3 month supply in November last year to $1800 for a 3 months supply this February. WTAF??!!

He also put tarrifs on pharmaceuticals from China and Taiwan, which will barely effect China's economy, but have a major impact on drug prices in the US.

In my country, it is impossible to spend more than roughly 300 USD per year on medication.

Anything above that is fully covered. Even so, drug prices are so low that you usually need to have multiple chronic illnesses requiring prescription drugs in order to reach that "pay ceiling".
