what do you think about the tuner who tune the car online through a computer remot access and they never saw or drive the car, they just know the mods that your having?

hi i have evo 8 with stock turbo running on a aem ems map. my car was tuned yrs ago for like 20lbs of boost. its drove fine for a while and then i hardly drove it so it sat around for long periods of time. then it started overboosting to like 25 26lbs and then boostcut or fuelcut. first time it happend scared me felt like hitting a brick wall. and what's wierd is sometimes itll do all the time driving an hour stop somewhere and drive again and it goes away. its been doing this for years. haven't bothered to really look into it or take to a shop. the car only has 10600 miles so its hardly driven as you can tell. 05 evo 8. would boost leaks cause this issuse. thanks.
