I recently had a 2024 Lexus NX Takumi as a loaner and your driving Impressions of this are exactly my thoughts about the NX. Just a staggering level of refinement for this class of car. Floating on a cloud levels of ride/NVH suppression that in my opinion are on par with Range Rovers from just a few years ago.

Other reviews have suggested this likely is the better value over the TX. I would think this is new enough that I am not surprised the hybrid isn't available at a discount. Assuming it is in stock.

Great review. We don’t get this here, we get the smaller Kluger. The highlander looks like a big tow vehicle but I suspect it would struggle to tow with a smallish 4 cylinder. My step fathers Prado was a good tow vehicle with its 4 cylinder but that was I think a 3 litre and a diesel. I liked his Prado but it idled rough. Very rough until it warmed up after 15 minutes, then it settled into medium rough. My brother who has had a diesel Prado for some years said it’s normal. Might be normal but not ok by me.

I will definitely keep Jim’s info in mind when I’m ready to buy a Toyota, but for now I truly enjoy my Kia Sorento PHEV and Hyundai Ioniq PHEV, they are fun to drive in a different way but overall the fuel savings make me want to keep driving them…which I wish this GH will come up with a PHEV version soon ( don’t like the look of the Lexus TX and the price unfortunately)

The venza is also similar in being a nice vehicle while still being a Toyota. I can't believe the gas mileage in this thing and it seems to be a very comfortable car, great for longer trips. Lots of USB ports are always appreciated but it's taking me a minute to get used to type C. I don't know any type c to type c cables yet but I guess I have to get with the times. Do you think the body roll could have been avoided with better suspension or it's just inevitable due to the size of the car?

This is a very practical vehicle in many respects, but I am not a fan of the rear - so bland and generic. The hybrid MPG is freaking amazing though.

We got ours and are very happy with it. That being said, I really wish that Lexus offered a TX with the same engine, as we would have loved to go with something like that instead.

I am in the market right now... My 2021 Highlander Platinum Hybrid lease is up soon, and it only has 16, 000 miles on it.
I can not find a Grand Highlander Platinum Max in Storm Cloud with the Portobello interior. That's what I would want. I have searched everywhere. P.S. My last resort will be to extend my lease because that 2025 Sienna is going to blow the Grand Highlander away.
