to be fair, Dooku had a point, the Jedi got way into politics, and failed at helping many people. for example, they did very little investigation about the war between the planets Kalee and Huk, as it wasn't very straightforward, the mishandling the situation and ultimately giving General Grievous his hatred of the Jedi
