Costochondritis is making me miserable. Thank you for this video. I've been to the ER twice and had every heart test and scan. Everything was fine. Overheard staff at the main desk when I was walking out snickering and making comments about how they can't believe how many people come in there thinking it's a heart attack when it's just anxiety. How insensitive. Was prescribed muscle relaxers but those knock me out half the day and the 600 mg of ibuprofen I take sparingly. When it's unbearable. They want to push pain pills but I don't want to become an addict because if I took them everyday they might lose their effectiveness. Although my heart was okay that doesn't make the symptoms go away the pain is still there I am looking for natural therapies. Deep breathing doesn't always work. Nor does drinking cold water or doing exercise. But it helps a little. Magnesium too. Was diagnosed with anxiety, which is mental.. (when Im just going through menopause, , which is natural) but when I'm feelimg happy, it still happens.. what do you do. . I couldn't believe after all the time spent in the hospital none of the doctors ever mentioned menopause being a cause of this they never even brought up menopause which was a significant biological thing my body was going through .Hard to find support when even the medical profession doesn't take it seriously.

I've just burst into tears watching this & reading the comments. For the past few years I've had this tingling that goes across my shoulder blades, both my arm develop sudden weakness and I get a squeezing sensation in the middle of my chest to my back. Seen 5 cardiologists with echo/treadmill/ultrasound tests & all good. Anyone else get this? Xx

Yes, yes, yes, ‼️ finally someone who explains & understands these symptoms 👏🙏🏻 palpitations were my first symptoms & went to the cardiologist & I had many examinations including all you said. Fortunately, everything is normal but the feeling is awful 😂😂thanks Kari❤️

Thank you so much for this video! I've started having palpitations and have been cleared by my cardio. I'm 45 and peri-menopause is gifting me with all kinds of strange symptoms. It's such a scary and unnerving feeling! I'm so glad I'm not alone in this♥

I have all of these at one time or another. Am now on beta blockers which help with the palpitations but none of the other issues. It’s all VERY scary for me. I don’t wish any of it on anyone but it makes me feel better knowing there are others out there. Thank you for this.

And please remember to dring a lot of water every day, as my cardiologist said. Dehydration makes the heart struggle and increases palpitations.
Stay healthy, ❤

I have PVCs, racing, pounding and yes I sometimes can hear my heart in my ears, especially when trying to sleep. I’ve had these symptoms for years. My cardiologist says I’m okay except for some high blood pressure which I take meds for. If I could actually lose weight I probably could get my blood pressure down. I’m not liking peri menopause. All the symptoms are nuts. I don’t even want to be social anymore because I never know when my body is going to do something weird. I hate the anxiety and depression. My mom recently passed away and that definitely didn’t help my moods. My mom was helping me with the weirdness of it all but now that she is gone I couldn’t help but to feel lost. I’m so glad I found you. You make me feel normal (if there is anything such thing as normal during menopause.) Thank you for what you do. I’m grateful I found you.

I can't thank you ladies enough for sharing your honest experiences. I relate to almost all of them, and have felt so alone in this unsettling journey. Trying to talk myself down from these heart palpitations and terrible anxiety has been so hard.

I figured, last autumn, my absolutely crushing chest pain and pain in my left arm was a heart problem due to the hell of years of suffering menopause.
ER doctor/nurse rolled their eyes when I was lying on gurney about to get the EKG. They thought I was having a “simple anxiety attack”
Should have seen their faces when it turned out to be abnormal cardiac arrhythmia. I don’t use medication because it won’t improve it, but the menopausal loss of hormones can REALLY devastate the body. I’ve now had 56 symptoms and health issues due to menopause. My thoughts are with you all ❤️🙏🏼 my strong menopause sisters.

When I hit 55 I’ve experienced this awful squeezing sharp burning pain in my middle chest which I never had before. I thought I was having a heart attack. Stress aggravates it. Heart tests were fine. Doc thinks it was an esophageal spasm? It’s terrifying though, geesh. Thanks for all your videos😊

OMG Yes!! The chest stuff has been terrifying. Also having had ‘the big scoop’ in my mid 30’s I find very few Dr’s understand or can relate to me what to expect from peri-menopause or menopause. One thing I have found that helps with all of the chest/stomach related issues is to eat my largest meal around 3:00pm and have maybe a snack at my old dinner time. This gives my body time to get everything handled before bed. Also a good Magnesium supplement & a walk every morning are essential.

Thank you for this video. I love all your videos. I’ve actually learned a lot from you about all the crazy symptoms we go through during perimenopause. Thank you. When I first experienced heart palpitations I thought I was dying of a heart attack. I went to the ER. Everything turned out to be normal. It caused me so much anxiety. Now I know it’s my perimenopause symptoms. I’m 45 years old. Now what worries me is at times I feel like my heart stops and or skips a beat and I begin with my palpitations. It happens randomly. It scares me. 😮

Thank you so much for these videos. Trying to talk to my 80 year old mother about things like this is a huge No. Asking a doctor is about the same. Again thank you

I'm going for an ECG tomorrow thanks so much for this video it's made me feel less concerned. My Dr said oh no chest pain is nothing to do with menopause, obviously it is. I do wish women were more educated about the horrific things that might happen, I've been so scared the last week. Thank you so much for the information.

Thanks for the video. I had ekg and x-rays done. The doctors didn’t see anything and looked at me like I was crazy. 🙃
