How Meteorology Disproves Noah's Flood

I never said or implied that Americans were stupid because they don't use the metric system. I said that "my target audience are mostly Americans", and Americans use the Imperial Standard instead. American scientists are still required to use the metric system. But my target audience are creationists who don't even understand science, and are therefore least likely to make sense of metric measurements. But even if they're not creationists, if they're not scientists either, then I should use Imperial standard as a courtesy because that's what they understand.

When Ken Ham built his ark replica, I remember how he inadvertently proved yet more problems with the story, specifically the issue of cooling. All the animals would have suffocated without a modern air conditioning system. Ham claimed that the atmosphere must've been different then. So the only hope for believers is to invent a world of pure fantasy to protect their fantasy.

Science strikes another rational blow to that old book.
I watched Ricky Gervais on USA chatshow he made a great point:
If every religious text disappeared today, in 1, 000 years time there would be new religions/scriptures different to the ones today. However if the same happened to all the scientific literature, in 1, 000 years time the same literature would end up being written, because the scientific method would rediscover the wonders of nature and why things behave the way they do. Aron ra is clearly a scientist worthy of being taken seriously. He uses logic, reason, and fact to disprove every biblical claim/myth.

My 7 years-old nephew had apparently been told the story (the child-friendly one, naturally, without god being the cause of the flood and all the drowning left out) and he asked me "How did the Kangaroos get to the boat?" Of course, he probably figured that the story took place here in Sweden rather than the Middle-East, but he knows that the place where Kangaroos live is really, far away from us and with lots of water in the way and as such was sceptical about the whole thing.

Being a retired airline pilot I have one question. If water covered the earth to some depth higher than the highest mountains I wonder how they, the people on the boat, along with the animals, survived floating at 29, 000+ feet without heaters and pressurization. Also, at that altitude the temperature is around -40C. They all would freeze and suffocate to say nothing of the fact that the surface of the ocean would be ice!

Attempting to explain why the Noah story is bonkers feels a bit like explaining to an adult baby's aren't delivered by storks.

The wide-spread Flood legends of the world are most likely folk memory of the coastal flooding that occurred during the Great Thaw, at the end of the last Ice Age.

The Biblical account, specifically, is most likely based upon the catastrophic breach that formed what is now the Black Sea.
