These are awesome tips!! For as long as I can remember, I've been a REALLY bad overpacker. I'm talking: straining my back to step on the scale with my large checked bag to see if I made it under 50lb (usually it took me several tries to get it under 50lb), plus a rolling carryon that I could never lift into the overhead on my own, plus a bursting backpack that I could barely shove under the seat in front of me. I'm on a 19-day trip (including my travel days) right now and unfortunately didn't see this vid til after I'd packed up, but I coincidentally followed a lot of these tips and travel is a whole different feeling than it used to be!! I looked up the weather for my location for the time I'd be here and chose my clothes accordingly. I only packed a rolling carryon and backpack (it's great to save the $ I would have spent on a checked bag). I have laundry access and was much more reserved with my clothes than usual (2 dresses, 6 tops, 2 pieces of outerwear, 3 bottoms, a week's worth of undies/socks, flip-flops, trailrunners, cute/casual tennis shoes, 2 workout outfits, 2 pj tops, 1 pair of pj shorts, a one-piece swimsuit and a 2-piece swimsuit, 2 scarves that double as cover-ups, 1 hat, some fabric face masks) and I chose pieces that I could mix and match (mostly black/gray/white/blue). I'm excited to use your tips on future trips to lighten my luggage even more!! :)

Hi, Tiffany. I just discovered this video tonight and your tips are great! My husband and I are taking a River cruise for 18 days in Holland, Germany, Austria and Hungary this summer. We are each taking a carry on and a personal item bag, soon checking luggage. I am a new subscriber and look forward to seeing more of your videos. Thank you!!!

I saw someone put a plastic bag in each packing cube, as things got dirty you wrap them in the plastic bag and put back in the cube.

9:53 I also used a small pencil bag from the office supplies section of the store to store toiletries, as long they are in travel size

A lot of this was quite obvious I thought but I was grateful that it was pretty practical (especially for someone your age - so many travel vloggers your age SAY they're packing light but actually carry a RIDICULOUS amount of unnecessary stuff)

Multi-pocketed travel vests or jackets (such as Scottevest products) are great for replacing your purse—everything you can put on and around your body doesn’t count as a “personal item” so you can maximize space in your personal item bag—plus they make purse-snatching nearly impossible as they’d basically have to disrobe you to get your “purse.” Plenty of room for tickets, passport, wallet, pens, cell phone, GPS, chapstick, small brush and comb, glasses, makeup, notebook, even a regular size iPad. I got one that has zip-off arms so you can wear it as a jacket or vest

Nice video! I used to love hanging organizers but was frustrated because hotel bathrooms, cruise shop cabins had no hooks anywhere! Started ditching those bags for smaller size toiletry bags that stand upright and can fit on narrow counters and sinks…

My grandparents and I went from Oregon to Prince Edward Island Canada for 9 days including 2 in hotel rooms (this was in 2011) and my grandmother brought 3 pairs of underwear, a pair of jeans and 2 extra shirts, plus a dress for church and clothes to swim in. and her purse. She packed her clothes in my grandpa's luggage and only carried her purse which had her ID, ticket, passport, and directions/itinerary. I was allowed one item and my grandpa had 2 which one was gate checked. (we did this for souvenirs) We had found an actual Victorian farmhouse that had a private beach and a laundry room. Apparently it also had an alligator in the basement (what we were told, pretty sure they didn't and it was to keep people out of the basement.) The house had grates in the floor and you could see from the basement to the bathroom next to the tub all the way up on the second floor. It was a great trip and very memorable. The only thing I wish I had with me was better bug spray. My grandparents barely got bit but I had a picture of how big the mosquitos were!

I always wear a pull on one piece made of a natural material on planes !! Easy to wear in a hurry, comfy on planes as we get bloated on planes !! So on . I prefer them at knee length to manage easier & in cotton, or modal !! I love modal as they're silky soft !! And they last for a long time !! I always bring black bottoms ! Legging pants, not leggings, a lot thicker material & dressier looking, I love woman with control brand ! Easy pull on types, I love bootcut ones & skinny types they've got !! I've been wearing 'em for over 10 years now !!! Wow !!! Also a black pull on skirt, I love pencil skirts !! And some sparkling tops or dress for the evenings !! Sequined, or satin, so on. I always bring one or two statement necklace(s) w/ me everywhere I go traveling !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈💞

Here in Brazil if you have a dryer that means you are really rich

Your accent, pronunciations of words and the speed you spoke at the start made me LMAO! every single country in the world uses dryers, how narrow minded are you! packing a steamer but packing light... erm! there is not one single new tip or hack on this! This is clearly about the money earning links than it is about the overused old hacks/tips!
