A short video on the process I go through to quickly get a calibrated flow rate for my filaments. Hope this helps!

The finger nail trick is genius, cheers

Thank you for this! For someone with texture issues I was really hesitant on a 3d printer in the first place. I've seen some incredible prints with hardly any texture and I've seen some rough ones! I've branched out beyond PLA and the automatic settings and having a hard time with the silk and clear.. I'll try this and keep track of the settings I need. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for details, turns out even original bambu sample scratches for me.

same here, wondering where you did this- and can you walk through the steps on how you activated the calibration process?

Thank you so much, this is really helpful for a beginner. Using Orca slicer, I can help tune flow rate for various filaments on my K1C.

i double checked and can not find this option, it shows manual but it is greyed out. Has bambu removed this manual calibration feature? Dec 2024? should I send a support ticket?

I've been using the pad of my finger tip, I'll give the fingernail method a try on the next filament I'm calibrating.

Great video, but I still need to learn some basics. Is this calibration entirely print quality based or does it somehow adjust the print speed? Can you recommend video explaining how to tune completely new filament in a way that the quality and speed is optimized?

Where did you find this test? I don't think I have seen this one.

I just did this test at 1.0, entered -6 as my choice and it pit the flow rate down to 0.89. I was expecting it to be 0.94. Any idea what I've done wrong?

So means that the flow rate from normaly 100% should be now 97%?

How often does the flow rate need to be calibrated? Periodically? With every new type of filament?
