I just got this tv delivered today in 65". It was just $370 after tax. So far I'd rate it a 10/10. It has great viewing angles, colors, contrast, brightness, motion, screen uniformity, and my unit has zero backlight bleeding. This Roku tv has a very solid feel to it as well. I tried the new Toshiba C350, TCL S4, the Hisense A6, and this Roku branded tv beat them all. This is the best bargain among the 65" tv's.

Although this is an older video, it is one of the very few videos, or even reviews, for this TV. Thank you for this, Steve. I bought the 50" Select version for my smaller bedroom. It's got decent everything: picture, color, sound, contrast, viewing angle, and features. It doesn't have any glaring flaws which stand out. I would say it is well-balanced in what it delivers. I really appreciate the simple remote and simple interface when I am in bed. If you are an enthusiast, you might want to spend a few thousand dollars for your bedroom TV. If you just want to watch some TV before you fall asleep, the Roku Select series is well-designed, capable, and a great value for the money. I'll spend 4 times the money on a C3 when I decide I need to fall asleep to better black levels and motion....or when I want the ambient relaxation scenes I sometimes use to fall asleep burned into my OLED, because I forgot to put on the sleep timer. That will be awesome.

Nice review. I just purchased this same 55" Roku in the Plus Series. I wanted a streaming TV that was easy for my wife to use with one remote. This TV was my choice and I think I made the right one. Thanks Steve!

I’m getting 2 of the little ones one for my bedroom and one for using my digital microscope for my work

Most likely these TVs are manufactured by one of their partners (TCL, Hisense) and branded as “Roku TVs”. Similar to how Roku rebranded Wyze smart home products for their connected devices product line.

Yes, will it last Five or Eight years before you have to purchase a another one?

I am pretty impressed by the Roku TVs for the price.

The select reminds me of the TCL class 5. I still wouldn't have these as a primary TV for my living room. I want something better. However this is a good TV for bedrooms or a secondary.

Roku OS is simple, which is its strength and weakness. Weakness because it is too simple with regards to settings.

Good review as the term " for the purchase price" is indicated in this review and other reviews by YouTube content creators when reviewing second tier TV's. These are TCL, Hisense, now Roku, ONN. Walmart brand, and possibly Insignia the Best Buy brand. Too often purchasers of second tier TV's are given wierd solutions to "work around" technical concerns. I am 2 weeks past my TCL one year warranty and this week the TV disconnected from the streaming APP and started flashing with a grey screen.
There are no reviews on YouTube that ever consider TV's that are out of warranty. Next purchase will be from a retailer that includes a 2 year warranty or a reasonably priced 5 year warranty. However my TCL QLED 65s546 provides a very nice picture that requires no adjustment.
Second tier TV's require some type of extended warranty!!

Here’s hoping Roku can make great TVs! I’m a power user I don’t know if their TVs will be my thing (yet) maybe later down the road they’ll get more confident and consider making TV that would get a power user like me buying. In the meantime though I’ll still stick using the Roku streaming boxes

Hi Steve, thank !! Did you make any serious color adjustments ? If that was an - out of the box - picture it looked just like the tv my neighbor has . I was totally blown away by the tv I was looking at, I could not believe it . I asked if she had it calibrated, she said no -- she just had it taken out of the box and plugged in . The tv looked so freak'n good . When I got home the first thing I did was ' google ' the tv a found your video . Totally knocked me out !! My only issue was a slight red-push, however it was only watching a tv show, where as during a commercial it looked perfect, I mean videophile perfect . It is a 50" Roku tv the price was under 300.00 --- Are you kidding me !! Sony A90L, I don't think, could have the clarity and color depth this tv has . My 11 year old Sammy F8K 3D TV looks no where near as good, and that cost 2500 bucks !
Could it be a fluke ? Was I seeing things ?? LOL it was that good. Later -- Dreamer 

How does this TV compare to the Hisense u7k? Would I be loosing out by switching to the Roku Plus? The picture is great but I don't like the Google operating system.
