As a former submariner, this is pretty damn cool. The fact that you have a CO2 scrubber is and did all of this is mind-blowing. There's people in this world who couldn't change a tire much less build a sub from scratch.

This takes me back a few years (2015?) when a neighbor on our lake (notably much smaller than yours, but about 50' depth) took on the same project. A bit smaller than yours, but just as technical and scientifically based. He was assisted by his MIT son and many other talented and dedicated people. I watched his progress, and the first surface run, to the first submerging. It was marginally successful, with a minor leak, but enough to abort the test. We moved at that point, and never heard of further progress. It was a 2-person submersible, and used bottled air for life support and separate tanks for buoyancy. All welding was done by a certified engineer. It was quite a project, 4 years in the making. All on a land-locked 150 acre lake in NC. Great minds are found everywhere!! Good job!!
