The device ‘OxiFine’ is developed by student Vishnu P. Kumar
Cost-effective, it can be used with smartphone app
The smart pulse oximeter has no display unit
Can observe pulse rate and the level of oxygen
Works using micro-B USB power adapter
Reflective sensors for accurate reading
Data will appear on mobile with the help of Internet of Things
The device is simple as it doesn’t have special display unit and battery
Will share the production technology with other engineering colleges
Developed under the mentorship of Prof. Arun J.S.
Will do the production with IEDCs and Mini Fab labs
IEDC under the college’s industrial division will coordinate
