As the underlying price goes down, the IV goes up.

To what extent does this fact, negate the potential upside of a "dip buy" situation. Imagine a stock where the price is expected to increase over time, but has experienced a short term pullback. For example let's say the SPY experiences a $6 pullback over a 2 or 3 day period. If you buy calls at the low point of that dip, where IV is at it's highest, you would almost certainly struggle to profit due to IV crush in this situation. Or am I missing something? Is the solution to attempt to buy the call before the very bottom of the dip, at a more "mean" level of IV? Thanks.

Great video. Your quality is fantastic and the editing is very nice. I like the fact its broken down the way it is and the fact that your videos aren't going on for +20 minutes.

I just upgraded to Webull from Robinhood (still trading in RH though here and there) and I love the chart tools. They're behind in the availability of different strategies when it comes to options trading but they'll get there. The thing about ToS is that even though its great and has all these advanced features... it looks like shit lol. Power to anyone who uses it though.
