This is a like. Showcasing the work was always a bit of a challenge for me and here you give a pipeline. Thanks.

Your work is amazing! I especially love your character work for Evolve. It's very inspirational to an aspiring character artist like me.

2:30 Magic! How did you do the hair? Was it done in Zbrush? Was it exported from Maya Xgen?

I don't know, other than color correction, I don't like post work in photoshop. It makes the model look less volumetric and more like a 2D sketch. It becomes less 3D in my opinion when you literally draw on a 3D render some fake elements. If you want to change something, do it in 3D, during render phase. If you want some fog elements, do it with renderer's volumetric fog and not this painted fake one. You are spending so much time, creating this complex sculpt and then you make it look like something that could be painted in 15 minutes in Photoshop. 4:09 this to me is much more aesthetically pleasing and realistic than this 15:03. The first one looks like an impressive 3D model, which it is, the second one looks like a 2D sketch. Something like that could be directly painted in 2D with much less effort and time, so why make it a complex 3D object and THEN downgrade it to a painting ?
