There's such a contrast between American reviewers and Indian/Asian reviewers. Americans compare budget phones to flagships while Asian and Indian reviewers compare phones WITHIN the segment.

I think it's because of how MediaTek design their chips. They tend to favour one massive core verses Snapdragon and Exynos which favour many cores. That means the many cores will complete all those setup things much faster because it's computing in parallel not series.

I was thinking about buying the phone 2. But when I checked the reviews, they said the day to day tasks feel almost the same. I am not a gamer. So what is your opinion?

I use a 3 yr old Samsung S21+ and I unlocked it from Verizon and carried it over to X mobile (not affiliated with Elon Musk, surprisingly) it uses Verizon towers and it still works for me like the day I bought it
