Over the past months we have started uploading videos from our 100th and last Cavern Club residency performance over at the MLT Club (and some to our YouTube channel). Since the first clip has gone online, we have been getting questions about a CD of the whole concert.

We always wanted to release it "down the line", and with live music being put on hold so brutally for the foreseeable future, we felt we've now reached the end of that line :-)

The CD will be a double album of 28 songs which comes to a total of nearly 90 minutes of music - a mixture of lots of Beatles and 60's covers and also some originals.

The album was recorded at our final show of our 2-year residency at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool on October 8, 2016 - with Callum Williams on bass and backing vocals and Charlie Skeggs on drums. We were having a damn good time on stage that night, let us tell you!

We've been waiting 4 years to share this album with you, so you can probably imagine our excitement! We hope you'll enjoy the songs, the new video and the new merch. Putting this together made us miss the time we could spend on stage, meet new people, laugh, sing, dance and all be together in one room experiencing the joy music can bring.

We hope we could at least capture the atmosphere of this special show and bring it to your living rooms remotely until we're all able to sing and dance and laugh together again.

These twin sisters are tremendously multi talented singers and guitarists. They are a breath of fresh air to todays horrible fake automated musicians and equipment. You Go Girls keep covering those old hit songs. You all are phenomenal!

As a 60s kid who is now in his 60s, it is such a joy to listen to these lovely and superbly talented young women doing these fantastic re-creations of the Beatles and other music that I have loved for over half a century. No fireworks, no smoke, no slinky outfits, no armies of backup singers and dancers. Just extreme talent, fabulous sound, and remarkably polished and confident stage presence. And kudos as well to their excellent rhythm section; the bassist and drummer are very tight and right on the mark. Best of luck and keep making this great music!

Ladies I'm 60 years old now so you can just imagine how many times I have heard that song over the course of my life- the original version and covers I've heard it a gazillion times. After 50+ years as woman professional singer, musician (lead & harmony, electric bass, acoustic/electric guitar),
arranger, songwriter, producer…and having lived thru the original bands that played these covers I have to tell you;
I LOVE the MonaLisa Twins. Over-the-top stellar vocals and harmonies, interesting slight chord changes (from the originals) that not only don’t bother me, but really appeal to me. And modernize the song, and…oh yeah…ARTISTIC LICENSE!!
Great arrangements, balance, and production. Rock SOLID, snapping, grooving, hand-in-a-glove-tight bass and drums.
And that bright, honest, magnetic vibe of joy.
🔥 I have an aversion to crowds (unless I’m onstage - not in the crowd), and I can count on one hand, the acts that I’d actually go see in concert…and I’d go see MonaLisa Twins!!! Yowsah!

In a recent interview in the Parade Magazine Neil Diamond was the featured story...I’m A Believer was his first #1 as a writer and he gives great thanks to The Monkees for making it a world wide #1...he said he was able to eat for a couple weeks after that..you know how these struggling songwriters are...don’tcha girls !! Found MonaLisa several yrs. ago. Love their twist to old songs. Wish they'd come to the US and tour. I really like that at the 22 second mark Mona looses track of where she's at and Lisa notices and turns to her and smiles from the 25-30 second mark. Just love it...
