50 years ago (on 23 March 1964), the Beatles rocked the stage of the Ed Sullivan Show with "Please Please me"! They had played on the Ed Sullivan show twice before, and we did a cover for each of their performances:

"I Saw Her Standing There"
and
"This Boy"

To celebrate their 3rd week on Ed Sullivan we did a new studio cover of this great song. However, to save some time we took the bass and drums tracks from a live recording (played by Michael Mozeth and Philipp Wolf) that we did back in 2013. We then added the guitars, harp and all the voices at our studio :)

We decided to change the words just a tiny bit, so it would make more sense for us (being girls) to sing it. We hope you don't mind!

Have a great day and much love,
Mona & Lisa

I am 69 and have been an ardent fan of the Beatles all my life. I've been listening to the Twins and watching their videos for about five years now. I am so following everything they do. The Austrian precision shines in every detail... the Fab Four are re-appearing out of the grainy '60s in high-definition 21st Century excellence! And here, when the harmony is essential, I can tell they worked very hard to get the mix down perfect and make it look fun. The chorus is SO spot on it ABSOLUTELY GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS!!! Stay Groovy all!

I never, EVER get tired of hearing You Ladies play this song of theirs. It honors them, it honors You (both & all). I loved it when i was 7yrs.old. I love now that i'm 60. Honestly, it 'Pleases~Me' like few other things in life.

It would be lovely if folks would recognize that Mona and Lisa are Austrian, singing songs that are the fabric of modern rock 'n' roll in a language that isn't their native tongue. Personally, I can't get enough of them - dialect and all. Such incredible musical talent, such charming personalities and just shine in a world that is rapidly losing its brightness. We should count ourselves outrageously lucky that they share this with us. Stay Groovy!

Well done. All in the spirit of the Beatles. I am 68 and remember how they shook the world with these songs never heard before.

Someone once said, " Led Zepplin" has become their own cover band as so much time has passed since the 60's.
In an ironic type of twist, Mona/Lisa has always been a cover band since they started playing years ago.
Now, the term cover band seems ludicrous. They are the worlds ( original cover band.)
God Bless you ladies.

I spent the whole evening listening to all your covers and original songs. You girls are really talented! I hope you never stop making music because you're too good.

Where have I been? This video appeared out of nowhere as recommended. Female McCartney and Lennon. But with their own soul. I am at a loss. Can’t even describe the way it makes me feel to listen to them. I love the Beatles and their music more than anything. Their music came to me when I was ten years old. They completely formed my musical taste. The closest to heaven I’ve ever been was, watching sir paul McCartney play in concert. In 2014.

I've never heard new life and freshness brought to old music like these young ladies do. Wonderful talents....

Am I the only very old guy who tears up a little watching these remarkable young women? If like me you're an OBF (Original Beatle Fan) you know there's literally some kind of indefinable magic, some kind of spiritual core inside Beatles music. Lots of acts do pleasant or fun versions of Beatle songs but these girls GET IT. The Beatles are in their DNA, way deep down. HOW THE F IS THAT POSSIBLE 56 YEARS LATER?
