How to Add Comma After Each Word In Microsoft Excel

In this tutorial, I’ll teach you a nifty excel trick. After watching the tutorial, you’ll be able to add a comma after each word of a sentence using a function. It’s gonna be easy and quick. Before starting, here are some related tutorials to look at:

Like I said, it’s gonna be quick and straightforward, I’ll use a formula to add a comma after each word in MS Excel. I’ll be using the Substitute Function in this tutorial. Those who don’t know how to use the substitute function, please check this tutorial below.

It’s gonna be a tremendous example of substitute function.
Here is how you do it.

Suppose you have written a whole sentence in cell A1 and you need to add a comma after each word of that sentence.
Now write the Formula In cell B2 =SUBSTITUTE(A1," ",", ")
Press enter and the data is converted. A comma has been added after every word in your sentence. Its that simple.
