Hey guys! Today's video is on how to find more money in your budget. When I first started budgeting, I had really big goals to save a lot more money and pay down debt. But I couldn't do any of that because my bills were so high and I didn't have enough money left at the end of the month. So, I'm sharing with you what we decided to do to find more money in our budget.

I needed to hear about cutting back, not cutting out. I have to keep this in mind so that I don't binge on anything. I feel guilty spending on "unnecessary" items so I should remind myself to still do the things I love but for a better price.

I enjoyed this. I have a realistic budgeting system as well. That cut back but not cut out is important. You have to enjoy life while you're living it. Plan for the events you want and cash flow it to give yourself something to look forward to. We are on a debt free journey but still take our family on at least one vacation a year. We also do pizza nights. It's cheaper to buy some pizza than make it ourselves, so we buy Little Caesars or buy the ready pizza from Aldi's.

This is great information. I agree that scaling back doesn’t feel like you are punishing yourself or family. We’ve started making our own pizza on Friday as well. COVID has helped us cut back in other areas as well

I love that you suggest finding ways to still do a couple things you love or look forward to. Most would say otherwise. Do you do coaching? Lol! Mom of two sets of twins here...

I say the same thing after my family signed up for Disney plus. So worth the $6.99 a month.

I hope you don't mind me asking this but a while back you made a video on becoming a minimalist, do you think it helped you with spending &/or staying organized with the things you have?
