I honestly think the lack of knowing my purpose leads me to over thinking and not feeling worthy. I look at my kids and wife and feel I’m letting them down because all I want is more. I’m in a decent job but not motivated as feel held back. I am the main provider for my family so have all the bills on my shoulders so don’t feel I can take the risk as don’t want to let them down. I started my social media videos across various platforms a few months ago and haven't had any real direction or real personal purpose until I found this video TODAY!

I have thought about it and came up with one that rings true to me.

I am a chef at a hospice and want to do more to help people learn to cook!

My Purpose.

To teach people how to cook simple, tasty, affordable meals.

From Single, widowed peoples, elderly, uni students, children, keen cooks and anyone in between.

Cooking should be fun and achievable for everyone to learn and i'm here to help the cause.


Thanks again Simon, I have some work to do and changes to make from TODAY but it will be beautiful. Positivity creates positive outcomes by using a bit of elbow grease and a good glug of passion :)

I’m a retired nurse & prior to retiring I retrained as a psychotherapist so that I could continue working & helping people. I did voluntary work offering therapy for around 10 years before going out on my own but I’m scared & I’m staying small Arghhh.
I think it’s after years of working in the nhs I feel guilty charging 🤦🏻‍♀️

We slowly buy properties (when we can or it makes sense to) because we hate seeing all the out of state big wigs and corporations buying out our beautiful State full of wonderful people and our pricing them all to the point where no one who’s tenth generation here can afford to live in their own homeland. We want to make sure that at least a few (wish we could help all) good families that couldn’t otherwise afford rent going up every year have a safe place to live and build their own dreams. When we can afford to we help with any renovations to make it their own, offer creative ways toward ownership, and if we can we give December off for free as a gift to such great people. We wish we could afford all of the real estate. That way less scum bags ruin lives and more good people help each other. Same with our business :) cheers, mate :)

I found out that i am INFJ type person and Aquarius. I am 30 years old woman and left my country when i was 17 yrs old. I have been living in the Germany and Switzerland and also in the UK, now i am back to my home Country Poland. I dont know what to do. 😶 Greetings

Great video Simon! 7:20 - in my opinion, as humble as your idea is, I'm unsure that providing more homes for homeless would solve the homeless crisis. Perhaps many made poor decisions, debt, childhood trauma, mental illness, and resorted to a form of escapism/ coping (drugs, addiction). Perhaps some form of therapy/ support center to help address and cope with the root cause of their homelessness. Just taking a swing here. I know you're just giving an example, so not trying to take it too literal here.

My purpose is to make it easy for people to learn and teach the ukulele.
When I started my colour-coded ukulele business, I actually had a lot of debt at the time, but I felt so inspired and didn’t think it would be much of a problem, because I felt my idea was so beneficial to the world, that it would quickly go viral and I would be able to make it profitable and pay off my debt. Luckily I managed to pay off my debt after a couple of years working as a ukulele teacher while developing and implementing my Laughing Abe ukulele teaching method. Currently I'm teaching at different schools and home lessons doing groups and individual lessons using my colour-coded curriculum, which has made my job as a teacher so much easier.
