The good
- The seal is pretty excellent, the silicone quality is not awful and yeah that seal is like A++ perfect. I even have a weird large face/head, and it fits great.
- The valves are strong and are definitely one-way as they are supposed to be. You can cover up the intakes on the filters and inhale hard, all you'll get is the small amount of air inside the mask as the silicone shrouding on the mask shrinks down onto your face from the pressure. That exhaust valve isn't giving out easily. Likewise exhaled air will always go through the exhaust valve, so the valves are legit.
- Breathing resistance isn't exhausting. You can breathe relatively easily provided the intakes aren't obstructed by anything external.
- The kit that I got came with goggles, the goggles are basic but also have a good seal and are deep enough so you can still wear glasses with the goggles on. So that's a plus.
- Value. The real deal 3M equivalent to this mask is like 3x or more what this respirator goes for, so yeah, for the price the build quality is actually up there. Which is surprising for China to be sure.


The bad
- The straps use some not so high quality plastic in a few areas, doesn't look too durable. Might not stand up to much punishment, treat those with care.
- The filters that the kit comes with aren't actually rated FFP2/3 / N95/99. They claim that they're good enough for painting and welding and particulate dust and a few other things which in theory would make them roughly equivalent to P2 / N95, but without the real rating or specification you can't be sure. Big downside.
- Not sure if the mask is cross-compatible with the real rated 3M P2/3 N95/99 filters. The 3-point bayonet design for the attachment is identical to what 3M uses on their filters from what I can see, but without having the 3M filters on hand to test, there's no guarantee that they will fit correctly if you buy those filters to replace what this mask comes with.

I have a this mask and a 3M. The filtration quality falls short compared to the 3M mask. The Na&um that I had delivered to me arrived dirty as well. The 3M arrived clean. I ended up stuffing the 3M cotton filters (N95) into the Na&um respirator because the Na&um cotton filters are thin like paper. I highly recommend just spending the extra money for a 3M facemask!

I learned a long time ago the hard way... Don't cheap out on PPE. Especially when your literally saving about $10-$20. Is your health worth that much?

I got mine yesterday, I tried to get some N95 masks but you have to have a business account. Very glad I found this video. The one I got was dirty, very dusty. China is having very bad sand - dirt storms. I wonder if that is why it was is so dusty, the box was not even sealed.

At 4.30, as you're blowing out? Look carefully at the white inserts on your filters; see the white filters bulging out? That means that the mask intake valves are NOT unidirectional, an indication of seal failure and poor quality. I would not trust the exhale valve from unfiltered intake either with this.

generally speaking the different side of a filter matter(it is the case for surgical masks), you should check in what way it is supposed to be put in order to be efficient. the review and test (and even unboxing) parts are very weak and amateurish ("omg! it's great!" is not a review test)

I have three of the 3M version of this.. i paid 38.00 USD each for these. i had to wear them for work. If anyone is skeptical of this style of respiratory protection i assure you that it is always good to have these. I went online to shop for one of these and on banggood online shopping they have a killer looking black one for under 15.00 USD!. Let you know how it goes.. thank you for doing this video..

I had trouble connecting the filter parts to the main mask .... I kept forcing it in and expecting a locking sound. I had to watch your video to realise that you had to push down and twist at the same time to lock it. Thanks dude!
