Maybe dumb question but, can we wash the mask? Or will some parts damaged?

For a full coverage mask or even a half mask how would you know you’ve got the correct size ? I think I do but wish I knew. I’m a “small boned” woman and bought a small half mask. But now I see I might prefer a full coverage mask to protect my eyes unless goggles over a half mask is normal or better.
