Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet - Best Easy Exp Grind Method! Where to Find Chansey EARLY + Sandwich Buffs!

*Update* - I've been able to confirm that the Lucky Egg is rewarded only after you finish 5 Gyms. I went to Montenevera at the beginning of my Violet playthrough and did NOT receive it :(

One of the first things I do when exploring the world of a new Pokemon game is figure out where I can find wild Chansey. Chansey in particular provides a MASSIVE experience points yield. In other words, you're going to get more exp defeating Chansey compared to any other Pokemon. So finding out where they spawn is key if you want to level up your team quickly.

The wide open world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet allows players to explore the entire map from close to the beginning of the game. And so, you can come across these Chansey very early in your journey. In today's video, I'll show you the location with the most consistent Chansey spawns that I've come across during my time with the game. As a bonus, I'll show you where to find a guaranteed Lucky Egg, and guide you through the Sandwich making process and share a recipe with a meal power that causes Chansey to spawn even MORE, to the point where you'll be seeing 10+ on the screen at any given time.

If any other easy EXP grinding methods come up, I'll upload an updated video, but for now? This method has already helped me reach level 100 with some of my Pokemon. It's super easy and gets you tons of xp in no time at all.

Make this sandwich instead:

Tofu x 4
Watercress x 2
Salt x 2
Pepper x 2


While constructing the sandwich, make sure to lose either 1 or 2 of the individual pieces of watercess. This gives you encounter power: normal Lv. 1 and exp power: normal Lv. 1 (fighting Lv. 1 if you don't drop the watercress). Not only does it make chanseys appear like crazy, it also increases your exp yield by 10%

Note: you need 5 badges to get the lucky egg, once you enter your 6th gym, you will get the lucky egg.

End game, there is a cave in area 0 right next to the 3rd research center. The chansey are level 50+. You can make the sandwich right before dropping into the crater. It’s even faster than grinding the 7-star charizard raids with ~95% win rate.

Side note: I ate a ham sandwich during the rain and no Chancey spawned at all, even after the rain ended. I had to make a second ham sandwich (less than 30 minutes later, so first one was still in effect) to finally get them to show up en masse.

Do this method in the secret cave in the great crater instead, higher level chansey spawn in the tunnel entrance and the first part of the grass

I’ve found 11 Blisseys in that area over the past 2 days. Tons of Chansey. I spent most of the game struggling to level up. This area is great.

Yeah it is your 6th badge that gives the lucky egg. I will try to do 6 badge tests and see if I can get it with 0 badges.

I found this on my own while going after frigibax. Went here because it was the nearest fast travel point. Also if you REALLY want to cheese this use Annihilape. I leveled primeape to 35 when it gets rage fist. Came back after doing its evolution on some low level pokemon. Easy grind

Are you able to stack the sandwich buffs? Like have the encounter buff and the exp buff at the same time?
