Adding a Zoom Call to your vMix Production. New video in description for direct Zoom integration!

Buckle up! This is a thrill a minute look at how to add Zoom calls to your video production. This is the method we've chosen to show you for vMix. Sure there may be other methods, but they might explode your CPU while you're trying to do a production. That might not be ideal.

Maybe there will better methods in the future and we can make another video about that.If you've found another awesome way to do it, that's great!

i do have the 4k vmix which allow 4 guest to be on my streaming but sometimes i need to get more than 4 guest in it .

Please add more than one vmix call line for the HD package. We've tried skype but the audio send via skype does not work. It is there for a minute then drops. Zoom is even more convoluted than the skype setup. We cannot afford the 4k package and we do not need 4k streaming.

Why not use the external output in Vmix and then just select "Vmix Video" as the video input in Zoom? (to bring the video from Vmix to Zoom)

I think the easiest scenario, is to separate computer for live streaming and vmix computer, especially if you going to record it will be way much easier. We use zoom to connect those two computers.

Curious about the window capture. I have been doing it for about 2 weeks and it has been working fine on windows 7 ( yes I know we will be changing that as soon as budget and factors allow).

So just to clarify NDI is less resource hungry than using the external output route?

Another suggestion would be to make triggers for audio routing. Once I figured that out it changed the whole game.

Great video! Is there a reason why you're not just selecting vMix Video as the video source in Zoom (without using NDI Virtual Input), which is the method that's been working for years? Wondering if you're anticipating issues with that method in the upcoming release of Zoom given the additional security measures they're implementing?

Yes Tim, got those, but the NDI input in to Zoom didn't want to work - and I'm absolutely sure it's not an NDI or vMix fault.
Thankfully, vMix Call will put on a cape and save the day.

Can you have the audio to be the one audio channel as default without adding the audio as a input?. Obs has a least one audio as default. That will help us to have an additional input in the production that does not include the audio.

I am an HD subscriber so only got the 1 call option...If you guys can just make at about USD 150 cheaper I can assure you many will not even consider zoom cos as far as I am concerned VMIX is the best option for all my broadcast needs

I've been trying to do this set up, but it seams like you must be running zoom on both 2 computers in a 2 computer setup. Otherwise there is no send from Vmix system back to zoom. Is this correct? Also I'm noticing that my resources go through the roof on Vmix when I use 2 computers. Could you explain this deeper?
