my interpretation of the tagline is that every team is used to the known (drafts/tactics) which gives them somewhat of comfort playing against each other, so in order to win you have to become the unknown that everyone fears to confront because they cant predict your next move

The color is too vibrant to see, so much red and black makes it hard to recognize words on it.

I don't get the tagline though. All the other msi's had good tag lines, but I just don't get this one

‘Become the unknown’ might be the single worst and nonsensical tag lines ever. But besides that I’m pretty hyped

Become the unkown is word play, at it's roots it means come out of nowhere and defy the odds.

I swear I'm the only the one that likes the tagline since the unknown is one of the most feared things out there, so if you become the unknown, everybody fears you. felt like it was pretty simple to understand what the point was behind the tag.

"Become the unknown" will actually work if any wildcard teams beat the giants and go further, cuz we don't know who they will beat next or when they will end their journey.

MSI slogans have been for years about being different than the others, defying the limits, breaking the rules.

And this "become the unknown" is no difference to the other slogans, it means becoming something that has never seen before, something no one would expect or even think can happen, in other words you become the unknown since no one thought you could become that.
