Hello Joey,
thank you for this clear training!
May I ask what if I have to import data from excel to SSMS DB table in a way that the records of excel must be added on top of the existing records of the table?
Should I use a Transaction: Declare a variable for the first row to be updated - calculate the variable as MAX(Rowidentifier)+1 - use this variable in the BULK INSERT?
Or is this covered by export-import wizard or other built-in tool?
