This is the hardest video I've ever made. I lost everything chasing this dream. My dream car, my financial stability, and almost my entire passion for making content. This is the raw truth about my YouTube journey, how chasing success backfired, the mistakes I made, and the harsh realities no one talks about.

- Did I make the worst financial decision of my life?

- Was I stupid to throw away my dream car?

- Why did my dream job fail?

-Was selling my WRX the right move?

- Can I recover from this and rebuild?

From drowning in debt to selling my car and questioning my future. If you’ve ever felt like you were losing control, you need to hear this story.

I think some people misunderstood. I maintained a full-time job the entire 7 years I've been making content on Youtube. I've never made any sustainable income from youtube. When I was working doing full time media and youtube, it was for another company, and I was still maintaining my youtube channel on the side. I've never been anywhere close to being able to make youtube videos as my full-time career.

That, young man, is called the way to greatness.
No money, no girl, nothing to lose..
Rest, eat, sleep,
And make a fucking comeback,
You have a lot of talent, and all the years you need to be an incredible story.

Dude, I’m also at an extremely low point in my life right now. Lost a lot, on the verge of being rock bottom in a few days potentially. Just keep going. We’ll both get where we want to be someday.

I feel you on this. Just post like no one's watching. Do it for you. People come for the cars and stay for the good vibes. Make memories, make videos with your friends, and don't stress the outcome too much and people will follow

Youtube is a very brutal place to try and make a living. Every single one of the other car youtubers i follow talk about that and their struggles frequently. You dont owe us anything. I hope you reach financial stability and prosperity with whatever you do next.

I've told you many times before you helped ME out so much in my 21 WRX before I even thought about doing YouTube. Your story is one that resonates with me so much because for a hot minute I was going down that road. My dad died and left me some money and I foolishly spent more than I want to admit on my 21 WRX and YouTube. I'm glad we got to hang and we will for sure hang out more in the future. I gotta rope you in on my live streams. As always I'm here for ya for anything I can help with! In so glad you shared this story because I am literally going through that right now ( doing media and other things at a Subaru performance shop). I'll make sure to step in the right direction! 🤘🤘

As always, love the content. I'm always here for it day 1.

Thank you for sharing your story and the struggles you have endured. In my personally opinion I feel like the root of the problem was not YouTube but more of your internal and financial decisions. In result of that things started to trickle down and make things worse. I do think you still have the tools and craftsmanship to become a successful content creator. I just think you gotta get out of the idea of that a certain car ex: WRX is what you need to achieve that. You can also try exploring other routes of content that aren’t as expensive as cars. It takes a lot to admit that you made mistakes and it’s very honorable that you chose to share your story with us. I’m glad you’re starting to get back on track as well. Dreams aren’t easy, if they were then they wouldn’t be called dreams. Keep going you got this bro!

WOW! I'll tell you what man, even though you were promised a dream from a company that didn't happen, I think the most important thing to remember is you never gave up and kept at it. After all the setbacks you were able to save a buy a car in cash. That is very respectable. I think you should focus on videos that do not require you to spend money. You can definitely grow an audience doing that.

When you find yourself in a stable financial position. I would say track down that eclipse that you sold and buy it back. That was (is) your dream car. You had another comment from someone saying make the videos for yourself, and people will come for the vibes. I’d agree. It might not take off super quick, but if you have put this much time into the mistakes of chasing what’s popular, I can only imagine you’ll go up from here if you focus on your joy.

Youtube ain’t for the faint of heart… especially when you make quality content with no one watching. I’ve been at it on and off for a few years now, most recently off since my build became a living hell despite it being my dream car, and my professional life just took over as well. I wanna get back to it, just kinda post for fun with friends and if something happens, it was meant to be. If not, at least it’s a car/life journal for myself and my closest friends of all the good times we have experienced. Hope you finally catch a big break soon man!

I was new to the wrx when i bought my '23 and i cant say how many of your install videos i watched and how many times. I always appreciate the videos where things dont go super smooth. Nuts get stuck. Mistakes are made. Knuckles get bloodied. Your videos are always authentic. Best of luck.
