These updates to power infrastructure is such a quality of life upgrade. It's gonna be less tedious to get started with far out factories, and late game the priority switch is just going to make it so you don't have to spend time running across the map to manage power. Great work! And seriously - don't stress about being late with the update. Thank you for being honest and taking care of your employees while still doing great work.

I'm hoping the power tower is taller than it looks. If the power lines don't clear the top platform of a refinery that will be unsatisfactory

One thing that's still difficult to do is plot out smooth paths and curves, like when running power long-distance to a miner. It would be nice if some kind of "planning spline curve" could be added to the map interface, and it would somewhat guide power line, conveyor, and hyper-tube placement in the world.
I definitely like the power towers, as it will make those long-distance runs look so much more believable!

I am so Glad you added length to the big towers!! I made my own similar, but length of wire was always an issue! Stoked for this update to drop!
