When I saw TH cubic formula I knew what was coming up root x the whole cube gets you x root x and same for y I knew it great job!!!!

i like this question a lot. I ended up solving it by imagining a cube of side a+b where a=rt X and b= rt Y. Essentially playing lego.

I replaced sqrt(x)=a and sqrt(y)=b, then substitute, and you see the cube formula right away. Also, you don't have to carry over so many roots. But good video!
