as much as I miss this show, I'm glad the writers said no more seasons after 4. All the plot and character arcs are done and the ending is satisfactory and earned, and the fact that the good place wasn't even good until they fixed it was very clever. The wave metaphor literally helped me handle grief.

I love the fact that Chidi is the opposite of Jason while Eleonor is the opposite of Tahani. The writers really took advantage of this in a good way. Who would have thought that Chidi could learn so much from Jason? Eleonor being a lonely child and ending up emancipating herself for her own good while Tahani is obsessed with her whole family and what they think of her. Also loved the wave metaphor, I felt different after hearing it.
