I agree. My books are beautifully formatted, and if I may boast, the content is a higher quality, compared to other books in my niche. And I believe that a higher price keeps potential customers from scrolling past.

I can confirm that. When I shop Amazon I don’t ever get the lowest priced item unless it’s simple and something I don’t plan to keep very long. But I don’t get the most expensive either. I tend to go with the middle price. Then go with design quality.

This video is now 3 years old. You said all your books are priced @ $6.99 in 2020. Are you still pricing them all at $6.99 in Oct. 2023?

Secondly, what is the minimal number of pages that a KDP paperback should contain for a $6.99 sale price? Would you price a 033 page paperback the same as a 133 page paperback?

Thirdly, where can I go to get detailed information on the Amazon KDP royalty payments? How do you calculate how much money you make from an $11.00 paperback sale? Is there a production cost for a KDP paperback that the author / creator incurs? Is this already explained in a previous video? Thanks.

Hi Nuria. I have the same problem as you as a review mentions in your Monty book: "No fault of the book creator and content but the printer that Amazon will assign job has very bad quality control which at the end of the day, leave the customer with a bad experience.
More than half of the book had this annoying black blocks disrupting the flow or pictures". Do you have any solution for this? Thanks
