Heather. I've just found your channel. You've described symptoms better than any doctor or other person I've ever met. I cannot believe how validating and informative your videos are. I love how you touch on one sympton per video. It helps to digest and keeps things less overwhelming. I didn't realize that all these symptoms, every one you talk about, are related. I have Lyme disease. Many symptoms overlap, so often there are misdiagnosis, or people can have both. I have 9 lesions on my brain. The growth and multiplication finally stopped with aggressive treatment (actually treatment for Babesia, a coinfection of Lyme) The most significant impact for me has been memory. Thank you, Heather. I'll be following and sharing on my Lyme fb page for others to benefit, both those with MS, Lyme, or MS caused by Lyme. <3. Bless you for being so strong to share and help others. I wish you the best.

I’ve been having this issue since Covid. And the anxiety I get while sleeping alone and having panic attacks because my sleep apnea + ms is horrible. It sends me into a depressing episode because I cannot fight it. I feel powerless. So tired and want to give up. Thank god I have my lover there to console me.

Heather, Very true. I am just now realizing that I am on a 10 hour sleep schedule. And that this contributes to my insomnia and my off kilter sleep cycle. Like you mention these all combine with MS to throw everything off. I have tried sleep meds and it seems to increase the instability of of my sleep and daily life. Thank you for the topic.

Many years ago the importance of sleep management became very important in my life. I have M.S. cluster headaches, and diabetease, along with other health conditions. Please believe me when I say its necessary to work with our sleep disorder not against it. Setting aside time each day to rest and sleep helps me to sleep through the night. It's essential to establish a pattern so that your body and mind have a chance to adapt and look forward to the afternoon sleep and rest period.

Hi Heather! Do you get muscle twitches? Every time I lay down in bed, I feel them, mostly in my legs. Lately have been getting this stabbing burning pain in my hip and my left foot doesn't seem to fully feel the floor beneath me. I feel it's there, but not as much as my right foot.

What about low oxygen saturation during sleep?

Yep, you got it right, that’s what it does! Even before I was officially diagnosed I started having this and it made my ex-wife so mad at me.

I have the breathing issue and the Insomnia!

I wish I could sleep during the day when I don't sleep at night. I had sleep apnea, tests showed I woke up 122 times and stopped breathing. The surgery fixed that by removing my uvula and repairing a deviated septum. But I still have insomnia and sleep three hours then wide awake & unable to sleep the rest of the night. Then am half asleep all day. The only time I get good sleep is when I have migraines.

Heather: This is something I deal with daily, rather nightly... Melatonin helps a bit, but I don't wanna depend on it every night!

I'm hoping to be able to take naps some day, I've never taken naps in my life! Maybe I can just lay down on my comfortable bed and like read or something.. I hate it that I can't nap. I've tried in the past but have never been successful. I'm always fatigued, but that damn insomnia switch keeps on and

I can't sleep at night and fall to sleep during the day. It's frustrating. Tried all the time. MS really affects so many aspects of my life sometimes I think it not real.

So tired I just lay there but I can't sleep either because of pain or my mind going so fast but it's like I just can't move I hate it
