Tortilla chips and salsa are almost always served before dinner in Texas. I live in Texas and I like HEB so much more than any grocery store. Plus they are usually cheaper than Walmart and have the best cut fresh meats from anyone else. Plus they make lots of their own things, canned beans, breads and ice cream. Ha Ha, Texas Starry Night is one of the best ice cream flavors I have ever eaten. We are so spoiled over here, varieties are never ending.

HEB is about the only grocery store you can find around Texas. They are everywhere

Dad would love it. At the Plus near my uncle in San Antonio there's a double aisle of nothing but bbq related products; $1000 pits in the middle, every type of charcoal on the shelves, and all manner of equipment. There's another HEB near me that the butcher carries air dried beef. The sushi is made fresh at almost all the stores. At their Mi Tienda store, they make the guacamole fresh at a stand inside. Some stores carry products from around the world or specialties like Cajun/Creole as British YouTubers Joel and Lia can attest.

Usually, store brands are seen as cheaper and lower quality compared to the popular name brands but a lot of people like buying HEB products! Personally, I'm a fan of their bakery section!

yes HEB is our local grocery store here in Texas. They have a lot of great stuff but so do other store however the fresh made tortillas are amazing.The tortillas they have are the flour tortillas however they make corn, and half corn and half flour tortillas, and southwestern tortillas.
