Jono, you would be better off just buying 10-20 acres of land with a big pond on it and then building your own house, to your own specifications, on the land. I have been doing the same dreaming thing, but I'm looking to sell my home and land, buy an RV, and become a full time nomad now that I'm retired. Great video. 🙌🤙✌️

You should try Michigan, great hunting and fishing, good food and beer, and great universities for your kids. Louisiana is a great place for hurricanes and tornadoes, high level of crime and poverty. Texas has a huge housing deficit, and also gets hurricanes and tornadoes. Ohio is full of Buckeyes. And if you want a pond, Michigan is full of lakes and ponds and lots of rivers and streams.

A pond being a requirement in Texas is very limiting.... tons of incredible properties around me in central Texas, but ponds are few and far between....
