I discovered mac Miller when he passed. What a fab dude. What a banterous funny guy. I agree he was unique in lots of ways. I'm 54 my daughter was the one who loved him. I now wreck her head with lyrics from macs albums. His earlier albums where fun and quirky love them. On swimming you can hear he has grown up so much but still got his super drop note raps going. Arrrhhh it so sad he gone cos he really did come over as a great fun loving person. I call him my maccy cos he was old enough to of been my son ha ha but yea I LOVE HIS really upsetting when you listen now especially his most recent tracks WHAT A COOL DUDE COOLER THAN A SUNKIST X

When he released Buttons, Programs, and Small Worlds before Swimming I was already hyped. Then I saw him at the Hotel Cafe in North Hollywood where performed this song with a grungier tone and that shit was so dope. Had everyone vibing.

“I run around with open scissors, they keep taking pictures.” Damn I’m high but I feel like MAC was speaking on how he was dying in front of everyone’s eyes but they either didn’t care or acknowledge it and they just kept ‘taking pictures’ in context to the media and the ruthlessness
