Would a bad GEM module cause battery drainage ?
I’ve replaced battery, alternator, all fuses relays, checked grounds, still getting a voltage parasitic drainage

Just have a question I have a 1998 ford f150 4.6 Triton 5spd manual. When I pulled my Gem model it only had one plug, plugged into it. But there is 3 plugs to plug into? You ever heard of this?

did you just take it out and put it back in? I have read it has to be programmed. Even if the numbers match.

Before replacing I assume we'd need to test it to be sure that's the problem. Can that be done at a common auto parts store?

i just found out the 96 sable has no Body control module. some show a module by battery but thats for cooling fans and engine. The 96 sable used the GEM instead. its the entire fuse box and on back is a GEM mother board. Discontinued. we are calling salvage yards for exact fit numbers

I have 2006 ranger and it doesn't have a module in that location. Where else can it be?
