2001 Ford F250 4x4 gem module headache finally solved!

I've been fighting this issue for two years. I saw this video and then ran out to the driveway with a wire tie. IT WORKS! Thank you very much!

Connector on the transfer case turns out was my problem also. This video helped. Thanks. 4wheel drive light on the dash wouldn’t light up, turned out to be this. lol

yeah so have the ExACT issue on both my f250s, no negative to relays.. 3 days later and your video, if a zip tie fixes my problem il fly to where you are just to hug you ahaha

How do you get to you? There are transfer case monitor to switch it back into floral drive or two wheel drive.Show me please

I got no indication lights when I shift the switch. But sometimes when it rains real bad, the four wheel drive low and high lights will flash on and off

I’m dealing with a similar issue. Did the 4x4 light come on before fixing this? How do I check my second relay for ground?

Do you have a how-to on manually disengaging the transfer case? That's the problem I'm having, it went into 4wd but won't come out.

Dude I am going to check this! So far, all fuses, relays, and motor are all fine. But I don’t have power to the esof switch. Where does the power to the switch come from? The gem or a fuse? And if the connector was loose at the motor, could this cause there to be no power to the switch?

Can’t get my 4 low to engaged. Changed everything! 4 high works great. Any ideas?

Did you leave the used gem module in it ? and didnt you have to reprogram the used one for your vehicle?
