I was making my stretcher in the ER after a call. A patients family member came out of their room and said "Boy it sure is quiet in here tonight." Police, EMS, nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists... We all united in pure hatred at this woman... then the tones dropped for a GSW, a Ped arrest, and MVC where a person t-boned a cop right in front of the hospital. Best part? It was 5 in the morning and I had two hours left of shift.

When I worked in security, "Q" was one of those words we dreaded and we had an area supervisor who'd utter it on the regular.
He was also the guy who complained that I sat on my behind all day. I was only licensed to operate cctv, of course I sat down all day! Moron!

Older hospice nurse here.These videos take me back to my Emergency Department and flight nursing days. Even in those dark ages of the distant past, we primitives knew from 1st day's orientation the consequences of uttering the "Q" or blowing off the power of the "M." Thanks for the memories!
