Fix ‘HE’ error code on Samsung heatpump tumble dryer

Press and hold ‘time’ & Anticrease’ while starting the machine and then spin the wash selected back round a few times.

Had the same error last night. Samsung say to clean filters and reset but their reset procedure is "unplug it for 5 mins". Checked out lots of forums, even one for appliance engineers and they all said "New compressor and new PCB, not worth repairing". After stripping the machine down, cleaning everything, testing sensors etc. and try all sort of things to get it going I got to the point where I thought I would have the cleanest scrap tumble dryer in England, then I came across this 10 seconds later I'm back in business! :) Thank you so much for sharing!

Just worked on a five button model; thank you! I had to clean the heat exchange filter and the BACK of the compartment where it slots in! Will make sure I do this regular basis 🙏🏾

Another thing is this error means it gets too hot and my dryer if by the radiator 😂
