Let’s not forget that Vermithor was 96 when he died and was nearly as big as Vhagar who was almost 200. Imagine how big Vermithor could’ve gotten had he lived as long as Vhagar or Balerion.

one of the things I hope the show does is show the different dragons have different colored fire, it often matches the color of the dragon but not always

It’s crazy to think that Balerion, Vhagar and Vermithor weren’t considered big by Valyrian standards. We know Valyrian class system was based on the size of your dragons and that the Targaryens weren’t a high class house. The Valyrians must have had some monsters flying around Essos.

Vermithor also was a mated pair with Silverwing, who was Alyssanne’s (Jaehaerys’ wife) dragon. Vermithor is probably my favorite of the Targaryen dragons

Vermothor also had two sets of wings, a smaller set protruding from his hind legs to help make up for his massive weight and weird ungainly body shape
