The Dragon that made Aemond & Vhagar Flee Dragonstone

In the last episode which was titled The Red Sowing, which was infamously named as such due to the sowing of the dragonseeds, with many dozens of Targaryen bastards trying to claim the unclaimed dragons and the many deaths that occurred due to this event. The ending of it saw a visible shift in the balance of power between the Blacks and the Greens, with the unclaimed Targaryen dragons Vermithor and Silverwing now ridden by Hugh Hammer and Ulf White respectively. These two dragons were large and old, each being half the age of Vhagar and with Vermithor alone being almost as large as the Green death.
Immediately after the Red sowing ended, The Blacks under Rhaenyra’s command sent forth one of the recently claimed dragons to assert their dominance over the skies, sending Silverwing and Ulf to soar over King’s Landing in a display of sheer might and defiance against mainly Aemond and his dragon Vhagar.
Until then, Dragonstone, the Blacks’ stronghold, was under the deterrence of Syrax and the smaller dragons Vermax and Moondancer. Aemond knew he had to be cautious to avoid an ambush while planning his raid in the forseeable future.
So, Driven by rage and a desire to crush the Blacks' spirit, Aemond decided to pursue Silverwing, hoping to catch her and her rider Ulf White unawares during their return to Dragonstone. As Vhagar swiftly took flight in order to catch up with Silverwing, quickly passing over the blackwater bay and approaching Dragonstone itself, Aemond realized something was amiss. It was during this pursuit that Aemond's blood ran cold.

Funny Aemond with only one eye could see the other dragons from that far, but Dany couldn't see the Iron fleet with both eyes.

I think he’s lucky Vhagar listened since she didn’t seem to quick to turn around. She has a track record for doing what she wants and she was clearly calling for all the smoke. 😂

At first I said to myself “this idiot just took the dragon for a casual stroll down kings landing for the first time?” Then once I saw the Queen with Syrax next to her, Vermithor behind her, and silver wing which made me realize this was part of her plan. Brilliant

I mean, Meleys already gave Vaghar a run for her money, Imagine a 3 or 4 vs. 1 at dragonstone (enemy base)... Vaghar wanted the smoke, but Aemond knew that was suicide lol

The Silverwing downplay. Jaehaerys once said that no threat in the world could challenge the might of Vermithor AND Silverwing together after 3 Dragon Eggs got stolen. Silverwing may be a docile Dragon, very friendly and kind. But make no mistake, underestimate her in battle and you're dead. Even with a newbie rider, Silverwing is a threat to any Dragon in the skies. She probably would lose 1v1 with Vhagar, but add in any other adult Dragon and she wins.

Vermithor AND Silverwing together would destroy any single dragon in combat (except for Balerion, imo).

They easily could have killed Aemond after drawing him away from KL if Vermithor went high alt and dove while Aemond was super tunnel visioned on Silverwing

I don't think Rhaenyra ordered Ulf to fly there. I think Silverwing just did what she wanted, probably missed her home and had memories of flying around with Alysanne for years.

Vhagar is the most powerful dragon but she's not invincible. There's nothing to be gained from a 4 v 1.

One thing I noticed is Vermithore has far larger teeth than Vhagar, once he chomps on anything it ain't getting away
