Akai: Please consider opening up your standalone plug-in APIs, to allow third parties to create new plug-ins. Imagine being the only hardware synth in town that had a platform for third parties. You'd own the standalone plug-in synth market!

I love this thing before even getting to touch it. On another note this video is a VERY VERY VERY good introduction to the MPC application and functions for the MPC family line of production machines. I learned MANY things about my MPC Touch/MPC software.

NI can't see AKAI with 20-20 vision!! Don't get me wrong, I have touched the MAschine a time, or two, or three, but after havingseveral MPC 2000s, the Ren, the Touch, I'm not even looking at daydreaming about Maschine any more. My MP has always been my go-to centerpiece. Plus, over the years, the MP has gotten so much easier to operate, especially after not touching the 2000 for so long when AKAI dropped the Renaissance, as well as going from the Renaissance to the Touch. It's the MP for the win
