It makes sense. Meditation is all about balance. Giving up control in a way, A Sith TAKES what they want. Its faster. A sith bends the force to there will.

This is why you should hire real true fans of something for whatever you’re working on, as long as they can do the job. All to often random ass people are hired for certain things and they read one page of a book or one episode of a show or one hour of a movie and then think they can say they are “fans” and it’s good enough to work on (whatever)

Sam Witwer is a really clever dude and the love for the things he's in and the people he works with are wonderfully wholesome

What an awesome take. This is also a great explanation why Sith powers are so different from Jedi powers and why it's almost impossible for Jedi to learn Sith techniques and vice versa.

It's the belief that there is a force out there that links together all life, and it's the distinction between working with this force or forcing it to bend to your will. And it's as much of a spiritual thing as it is mental or physical.

Mind, body, soul: all must be aligned and dedicated to a single purpose, either working "through" the force or making the force work "through" you.
