KENNERTON THROR & ROGNIR (PLANAR) COMPARISON.

Not a shoot out, but a comparison of two flagship headphones from Kennerton. The open-back Thror, and the closed-back Rognir (planar version).

Have both headphones myself and fully agree with your comparison! The Rognir is especially a technical marvel given it's a closed-back. Can't wait to see what Kennerton do next.

I own the both the Rognir bass tuned version and the Thror Novel. You nailed the differences between the 2 headphones. As far as the Thror vs the Thror Novel, Kennerton told me they sound same and the only difference is the more boutique appearance of the Novel. The Novel comes with the CLC-04 cable, same material as the Rognir cable.

Hello boddy I contacted kennerton about the exact model of the Rognir and its color and they told me it was a "dusk" model Rognir "dusk" model appears only dynamic on the internet and planar, I didn't find why?

I heard the Gjallarhorn has the best Kennerton bass, but not sure if correct.
