Why does any one in business give a gift if they dont want a favour? I remember a manager in a company I worked in being sacked for taking a fitted kitchen as a gift. Its particularly not acceptable in government as they are being paid out of the public purse. Why is it allowed? As a tax payer I would like the answer.
