It should be illegal to show things in the trailers that aren't in the movie, talk about false advertising.

I knew that Madame Web would make this list. It was such an infamous line, that it was mocked at the Oscars a month afterwards.

OG's will remember the twin tower scene from the original teaser of Spider-Man.
We know why the scene was cut, but what a great scene it was.

Rogue One is still an amazing film despite content from the trailer being absent

I was bummed out when they cut out the restaurant fight scene showed from the trailer for Spider-Man Far From Home.

8:15 it makes sense. She’s at the edge of a plane with no flight suit and no tether. If she fell out, yeah Tony could save her but it makes no sense why she’d be on the plane, or at the edge of it with no safety equipment. Yes Tony plays fast and loose with safety but it would’ve bugged me

I'm kinda sad that the hulk didn't show up in wakanda and I'm also a little bummed that the Thanos line was cut. In infinity war.

This practice should (if not already) be illegal. It’s the definition of false advertising.

Also, no mention of that scene in avengers infinity war?

The one shot scene from the trailer for Avengers: Infinity war featured Hulk running with the Avengers, but in the film, Hulk was a coward for the rest of the film when Bruce tried to go Green but he refuses, the scene was replaced with the hulk armour in a different background

Also, didn’t like in the Infinity War trailer. It looked like Gamora & Tony were having a conversation.
When in the movie it was Bruce & Tony and Gamora and Thor.

There was a scene in the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming where Spidey & Iron Man were seen together, apparently out to deal with unseen villains, maybe even Shellhead out to help in a street level crime that wasn't seen in the actual film.

Got a random deep cut. When I was a kid, I saw the trailer for Atlantis: The Lost Empire and became obsessed with the line "We're gonna MAKE history or BE history" from Michael J. Fox only to be heartbroken and confused when it wasn't in the film.

Bro most of Morbius's trailers were nothing but lies to the point where people couldn't understand what universe it was supposed to be in.

Like they showed a graffiti shot of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man, but it was an obvious screenshot of the suit from the PS4 game. They had the OsCorp building from the Amazing Spider-Man universe

What about "The Peanuts Movie?" There was a scene in the trailer where Franklin and Woodstock make a joke about tweeting.

I wouldn’t call it remotely “hyped” yet Venom doesn’t wink at a lady in the plane in The Last Dance.
