I saw this video like 3 years ago. Should've listened. Only started swing trading last 6 months and it's just better.

One thing that I think is important to add is how those strategies affect you psychologically. With swing trading you are invested over periods of days, sometimes weeks whereas with day trading you usually close your positions by the end of the day or trading session. You could compare day trading more with a 9-5 job where swing trading is more like being a business owner from the involvement perspective. I tried swing trading for a bit and found myself constantly checking charts and alerts. Maybe more experienced swing traders can distance themselves better, but I think this can be hard when being invested in fairly short time frames, e.g. I don't check my ETFs every hour, but I definitely check my swing trades multiple times per day. This level of involvement definitely has a huge impact you and on your relationships (friends and family). So swing vs. day trading is also kind of a life-style decision.
