Swing trading can be brutal: there are certainly times when you wish that you were a day trader; but, as soon as you start day trading again, you remember why you switched to swing trading XD

You can do both using the same strategy just on higher and lower timeframes if your using trend line breaks etc day trade lower and swing higher timeframes. Hope your good tori 👍🏻

As a day trader I’ve limited myself to a trade or two a day depending on the profit for the day. If I have a bad trade I will take my time, step back for a bit then enter another which usually ends out really well for me and covers the loss and some extra to call profit. I don’t understand how some people can enter 10+ in a day. Patience is key even when day trading and scalping market

Just switch swing trading with your strategy and with alerts like you. So far less stressfull. It is a probablilty game so I know it with work in the long run

From what I’ve read swing trading is less intense than day trading. I think maybe starting with swing trading would have been better because now that you are a pro you may be bored with swing trading.

Day trading for me. About 3 hrs a day on the charts. 1-2 trades a day.

Hi Tori!
How is swing trading working out for you so far?
I have just started trading in April, and still looking for my style, whether it is scalping, or swing trading, etc... so far I have mixed results, my p/l was almost +10% in 3 month's time, but my portfolio is down 25 atm, lol...

I think swing trading profit comes with experience. I see a lot of interviews with trader's on a YT channel here (Desire to trade) and almost all of them swing on like 4+hr and check it once or twice a day. I think that kind of knowledge/confidence comes from experience and I think you really need to know your strategy well. I think DT many trades a day with your set ups and eventually becoming consistent is the practice that's needed.
