I did learn that about sunroofs this year when I bought my replacement 1972 Super Beetle. So glad they are there or else I'd have so many issues with water in the car! Loved the video!!!

picked up a 1999 miata with 60k OG miles back in 2018. I'm the third owner and it was garage kept: never driven in the winter, and only in the rain when it got caught in it.(it was a driveway ornament) Still had a clogged soft top drain on the passenger side.

I have encountered clogged drain lines on the sunroof of a 2013 Toyota Highlander. The leak fed into the passenger floorboards. So, make sure the lines as well as the holes are unclogged.

Worth mentioning: somewhere near the windshield wiper axles there are drains, too. They get clogged up easily by a pile of debris an automated carwash never will take care of. Water ingress into the bulkhead is a disaster as lots of computers live there!

I learned that the hard way! I use to have a 99 suby legacy wagon with a sun roof. Back seat floor would get completely soaked. Little did I know the sun roof drainage was clogged up

especially in Fall with leaves falling on car. Windshield wiper area. Also if you park under trees (but shade under trees protects paint from sun fade and doesnt super heat inside in sun).

There’s drain holes in the bed of a pickup truck close to the cab that can also clog up if carry a lot of crap in there like I do. Lol 👍😎🥃 But I do check mine after it rains.

Had this happen on my 2006 Audi A4 at the back of the engine. The rubber plugs got filled up with gunk, and the water backed up until it fried two relays.
